This is from Robert Downs, Department of Sociology, San Diego City College. This recipe is simply delicious (in the strictest  meaning of the term). Please give it a try. It can be made extra spicy by adding more Red Savina Hot Sauce in place of the Kiwi-Jalapeño Pepper Sauce.

Shrimp Louie 

with Kiwi Jalapeño Hot Pepper Sauce

                                                 
            

  12 Sweet Onion, Peeled and Grated   1  cup of chilled mayonnaise
  Dash of Red Savina Hot Pepper Sauce 
 (Caution Very Hot!) Add Only A Small Amount For Color and Heat
  Kiwi-Jalapeño Hot Pepper Sauce (Add To Taste)
  1 1/2 lbs. of Jumbo Shrimp, Fresh or Frozen   Pinch of Lite Salt
  Dash of Worcestershire sauce  

Sauce:

Mix the first five ingredients, and chill for 2 to 3 minutes.

Chilling is best done while boiling shrimp

Thaw the frozen shrimp. Bring to boil water in a two-quart sauce pan and add the shrimp to the boiling water, and cook until red, approximately 1 to 2 minutes.  

Do NOT over cook the shrimp!

Strain the shrimp immediately and wash with cold water. Peel the shrimp leaving the tails on. Dip in sauce and enjoy!
