Island Vegetarian Dinner
Ingredients
1 cup uncooked oatmeal
2 cloves garlic tbsps. olive oil
1 1/2 cups wheat germ
1 medium onion, minced
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 tbsp. butter
1 can evaporated milk
1 small can cream soup(celery, mushroom, or corn)
2 tsps. salt
1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 cup water
1/4 tsp. black pepper

Instructions:
Combine all
ingredients except soup, butter, and water, in a bowl. Mix
well.Form mixture into small, thin patties, and place on a
greased cookie sheet. Brown under a broiler. In a
saucepan, heat butter and add soup, then add water. Bring to a
boil and pour over patties. Serve immediately.
